After a few years away due to Covid, this week saw the return of our hugely-anticipated air rifle shooting sessions.
Led by Steve and Louis, both of whom are fully-qualified National Small-bore Rifle Association (NSRA) instructors, our Enigma Scouts practiced control, coordination and concentration as they tried to hit the paper targets. As the night progressed the Scouts soon got the hang of it and some impressive scores began to emerge, some even came close to the 10pt shots!
Air rifle shooting is a great introduction to the sport of shooting. It’s often considered to be the next step for anyone who enjoys laser games or paintballing, ensuring the basics of safe gun handling (and how to shoot straight!) are mastered before people pick up other rifles.
