Today, Alegre Cubs ventured below the sandstone in Alderley Edge for a day of caving.

Many crawls, races, history and geology talks took place, but most importantly everyone had fun exploring!

We finished early, as we only had a small group, so went for a visit to Stormy Point (a view point just minutes from the National Trust Car Park), here, several tried to carry sticks I can only liken to felled trees, as well as running around the viewpoint to tire themselves out before returning home (hopefully!).

Many thanks to the Derbyshire (NW) Scout Caving Team for providing us with this great little day out!
