Brunt’s Barn Expedition Challenge Badge Weekend

15.06.2019 @ 07:15 – 16.06.2019 @ 16:30 Europe/London Timezone
Hope Valley S32

We have an opportunity for a small group of scouts to take part in a conservation camp.  This camp will fulfil all elements of the Expedition Challenge badge which is the hardest of all the scout badges to achieve.  The Scout Leader Team have managed to secure a weekend volunteering with Peak Park Rangers and staying at their Brunt’s Barn Facility in Grindleford.  This is a very strictly limited camp to just 9 female scouts; as the Ranger’s minibus only has 11 seats.  We will also be running a male only camp in October this is due to there only being one dormitory available for the scouts to sleep in.  We will be allocating places on an age basis to ensure our oldest Scouts have the opportunity to complete this camp and earn one of the nine badges that make up their Chief Scout Gold Award.  Please see the attached letter below for full details and await an email invite to the camp.  You will also find both the required consents forms for this weekend below along with important final information from both ourselves and the Peak Park Rangers
