After what seems like a lifetime to the leader team, we are finally embarking on our first beaver sleepover and what a magical event it is. Beavers from both of our colonies arrived as mere young people and are now well on their way to becoming fully fledged wizards. We began the day ensuring that we were dressed the part, whittling wands and then decorating these. We also allowed a special hat to decide which teams would be on for the rest of the weekend. After a healthy lunch, which included the beavers choosing a minimum of two vegetables, we got to have blindfolded jelly bean taste testing. The rest of the afternoon was spent during many fun activities.
