We do need to mention and ask for your cooperation in what, on the surface, can appear to be a trivial matter.
Our number one priority is the safety and enjoyment of all the children. We strive to succeed in this in more ways than we want to go into.
We have a safeguarding responsibility and as part of that, there has to be a simple principle we ask you to adhere to when commenting on the shared content.
Please don’t name or tag children
Whilst this seems draconian the reason is quite simple: whilst the act of tagging is done innocently and for positive reasons, there are instances and situations where parents or guardians have asked for their children not to be mentioned or included in the public material.
There are times, given the nature of the events we host, both in physical size and numbers attending, it is near impossible to avoid capturing some of those children.
