And finally:
Scouts Association new brand/identity
You may have seen that we shared some videos on our Facebook and Twitter relating to scouting having a new vision, brand and renewed determination to enrich the lives of more young people.
Part of this includes a new logo. We aren’t going to rush out and buy new signage for the Scout Hut, but we will begin to make some changes to our group branding. You may have already noticed we’ve updated the website logo, social media icons and some of the artwork.
A key focus for scouting is about giving young people #skillsforlife. We are exceptionally proud of the rich programme we offer young people across all sections at Penistone. We’re always excited about what’s coming up, and what opportunities can be made available.
The Scouts (the new name for The Scout Association) released the following video:
Skills for Life: Nat’s story
Scouts prepare young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, we give over 460,000 young people the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed, now and in the future.
