As part of our preparations for getting back to face-to-face scouting, we’ve been successful in a grant application with Barnsley Council (under the Penistone Ward Alliance).

We’ve purchased a sanitising fogger unit and the chemicals to go with it. We can use this between the regular cleaning slots to ensure the building continues to be COVID safe for all those who use it, be they the young people of Penistone Scouts, Baby Sensory, Rainbows and other community groups. Also, we’ve been able to purchase and install hand sanitiser stations in the scout hut and paper towel dispensers.
