Our Viernes Scout Troop enjoyed exploring Langsett Moor and Pike Low. The Scouts were led by our very own newly qualified Hill & Moorland Leader and Terrain 1 Permit Holder, Dave!
The Scouts learned about the moor’s history and how the upland environment plays a pivotal role in flood management and climate change issues. The walk ended with the Scouts exploring the (disused) Tank Firing Range where they loved exploring the targets and playing imaginary wars with the local grouses!
