Penistone Scout Group are offering a Christmas tree collection and disposal service in the new year. The trees would be taken away and put through the chipper in conjunction with Springvale gardens.
We would ask for a minimum donation of £5 per tree collection and are currently looking at doing our collection from 9am on Sunday 7th January covering the following areas: Penistone, Cubley, Millhouse Green, Thurlstone, Thurgoland, Oxspring, Hoylandswaine and Ingbirchworth.
From feedback, it appears that this is something that the Penistone community would support. Thank you, Community Action Penistone members for your comments.

Hi
I used this form to email a couple of weeks ago about tree collection from Green Moor but haven’t heard anything. Would you be able to come here to pick up our tree on Sunday?
Please let me know on [email protected] or 07419836491.
Thanks
Alistair
Hi Alistair,
I can see your request in our log.
Please take a look at this post from this morning:

Hopefully, it will help – essentially, details of the provision will be sent out prior to Sunday but after the closing of requests (Friday).
Cheers,
Rob
Is there any chance that you could still collect a tree from Ward Street in Penistone?
