Please find below a few key points regarding group camp:
Getting to the site
Opposite the campsite entrance there is Middle Field Lane; please drop your children off on the lane and leaders will cross the road with them to walk them down to the campsite. After dropping off on the lane, continue to drive into Woolley Village. Then turn around to the main crossroads at the top of Haigh. Please find the attached plan which shows this. THERE WILL BE NO STOPPING TO FILL IN CONSENT FORMS.
NOTES:
- Please, for safety, park at least 10m down Middle Field Lane
- DO NOT stop on Woolley Edge Lane
- Please follow the directions of leaders wearing fluorescent jackets
- Site entrance is locked, please don’t try to drive in
- Keep to your dedicated drop off / collection time
- When leaving, please don’t try to turn round on Middle Field Lane
- Follow the purple arrows on the map to safely return to the main road

- Explorers – 8:30pm
Pick Up
Pick up for Friday will be the exact same as drop off, but in reverse. Pick up will be from the top of the lane, you will grab and go. Please arrive at the correct time as no access to the campsite will be granted.

Tuck Shop
The Jamboree team will be running a small tuck shop over the weekend selling an assortment of sweets and soft drinks, if you wish for your child to be able to purchase any of these items please send them with a small amount of money. In line with previous camps, we cannot take responsivity for the young people’s money.

Contact for the camp
Contact for over the weekend will be Amy and Sam, please use either of us if you need to speak to an adult/your child(ren); regardless of what section they attend. Please also let one of us know if your child contacts you with any problems or concerns.
Electronic devices including mobile phones
We would like the young people to make the most of all of the fantastic opportunities we’ve lined up. We would prefer all electronic devices, including mobile phones, to be left at home. If your child chooses to bring something with them, please note that we can neither take responsibility for the device, nor will there be any charging provision.
