Remembrance Sunday Penistone Parade 2023

In memory of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our tomorrows and as thanks to those currently serving in His Majesty’s Armed Forces, this video has been produced for Penistone Town Council to remember the 2023 Remembrance Parade. Special thanks to…

We are incredibly proud of all our Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Volunteers for taking part in the parade today. You all looked impeccable! There were more than 150 of us altogether who took part and we were also joined by Explorers from Barnsley.

Despite the cold, everyone was brave and behaved extremely well… even the adult volunteers! We started the parade at 10:45 from the playground behind Tesco, marched down Park Avenue to the High Street then to St John’s Church where we stayed for the laying of the wreath ceremony and 2-minute silence.

Thank you to all who took part!

Lest We Forget.
