About the day
The Squirrels had an absolutely spooktacular, fun-filled day at the scout hut today! From 10.30am till 6.30pm, we played games, did plenty of arts and crafts and even had the opportunity to Invest some new Squirrels.
Games included a broomstick obstacle course, pin the nose on the witch and bowling. The Squirrels conjured up ghoulish masterpieces including gingerbread men, ghosts, witches hats, spiders and lots of other fun Halloween decorations.
Of course, a Halloween event wouldn’t be complete without plenty of grub! We kept the Squirrels well-fed throughout the day with the best party food there is – hot dogs and pizzas!
On behalf of the parents and guardians of the Squirrels, we need to say a big THANK YOU to the volunteers who devoted their Sunday to making today such an enjoyable one for our little ones.
Halloween 2023 Badge
As an added treat, the Squirrels who participated in the Halloween Fun Day received a unique Badge (to be sown onto their camping blankets, not their jumpers).
