We are very fortunate to own our own premises. We are also in a great position to be able to rent it out to other organisations and to private bookings. Doing so keeps our costs down, and therefore Scouting more financially accessible for our members.
We are looking for someone who can manage our bookings. Both internally for section meetings, and for external requests too. It’s important, more than ever now, that we avoid situations where one party interrupt another’s booking – even when they mean well popping in to collect something.
What the role involves:
- Managing the premises diary
- Taking enquiries about private or external bookings
- Occasionally showing external bookings around and processing temporary key holder agreements and associated paperwork
- Liaising with the Facilities Manager regarding building maintenance and the group cleaner about cleanliness
