It was a busy weekend for our Cubs at this month’s Lego Camp. From completing the high ropes, to building Angry Birds catapults and putting their trust in others during the sensory trail, our Cubs had a great time, and it was topped off with a day at Legoland.

On Friday, 34 young people and 12 leaders headed down to the beautiful Youlbury About camp in Oxfordshire, where some camped out in tents and others slept inside. After a good night’s sleep (for some), it was all-go with Cubs taking on an array of Scouting activities. Cubs completed a number of games and challenges that utilised all five senses during the Sensory Trail and completed an adventure course in the sky, making their way across bridges, tightropes and balance beams. They all did a brilliant job!

Saturday coincided with the King’s Coronation so we all enjoyed a celebratory lunch to mark the occasion. Then, after more team-building activities, and in preparation for the day ahead, Cubs ended the evening by watching a Lego Movie.

The next day, it was rollercoasters galore, with the day spent at Legoland! We wouldn’t be surprised if you heard all our screams back at home!

Huge thanks to Geevee Travel for getting us there and back!
